The
Reading Concert
Singers are a small and enthusiastic choir who enjoy presenting a wide
diversity of choral music, including traditional church music, Gilbert
& Sullivan, modern shows and film music. The
proceeds from
most of our performances are donated to charity.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at the Carey Centre in Reading from 8pm to 10pm with a break at 9pm for coffee or hot chocolate.
In our concert programmes, choral music is often interspersed with vocal solos and instrumental pieces from choir members and special guest musicians. Piano and organ accompaniments are often enhanced by guitar, flute, saxophone, clarinet, recorders, drums and backing tracks.
